Mirror, mirror on the wall...

We look into them when we are brushing our teeth, applying facial cream, cutting our hair or painfully squeezing our spots. A mirror in the bathroom is actually a vital accessory and it may well be worth spending time over choosing the right one. Every bathroom varies and you may have to adapt the mirror style depending on how much wall space you have, as this will affect the style and shape of a suitable mirror. Traditional wooden frames, glass finishes, light borders and modern features are amongst the extensive range of styles. A bathroom mirror should never be wider than a vanity unit. However, if you have double basins, it may be worth looking at a large extended mirror that fills almost the entire accent wall. This is also a great idea if you want to increase light exposure in the room and create a stylish boudoir

De-clutter your dressing table

I am always in a rush in the morning, so I often leave my dressing table in disarray. There were many times when I have made myself late looking for a lost earring in a pile of products, cosmetics and jewellery. When I finally decided to organise, I discovered that there were many items that would help me straighten up my dressing table and save a lot of space. Jewellery I was surprised how many differently shaped jewellery holders there were out there. There's your traditional jewellery box, but there are also bent wire holders that are designed to display jewellery for easy viewing and access. There is a jewellery holder out there for every woman's collection. My jewellery is mainly made up of dangling earnings so I got a wire mesh holder that I can hang them off of, but there are holders for long necklaces and bracelets too
