Please note: Several stages in the manufacturing process are still done manually according to the old traditions (tinning - riveting - hammering) and therefore irregularities can occur on the tinned / copper surface or the placing of the handles. Lids are manufactured separately from the pots. In 98% of our sales, the lids fit the pans - but there might be the occasional pan where the handle was placed a tiny bit too high and therefore the lid will not lay fully flat. Copper for the Baumalu pans is rolled out in sheets - ideally to a 2 mm thick layer - but thickness can vary between 1.8 and 2.2 mm copper.
